Came here for Valentine's Day (second year in a row), and it did not disappoint. I honestly came back because of how much I loved the experience last year, not just the food. The Mexican pizza is my favorite. I thought it was going to be super spicy, but it was actually the perfect level of heat. So flavorful, so good. The pasta, papas bravas, and wine were also amazing. What really makes this place stand out is the atmosphere. They had live music, candles everywhere, and rose petals on the floor. It felt romantic without being over-the-top. Service was smooth all night. We were seated quickly, the staff was friendly and attentive, and everything came out at the right time. It's the kind of place you go to when you want great food and a special experience. Definitely coming back again.

This is my second time visiting La Matilda and will definitely keep going back when craving Italian. Food was served hot and portions are perfect in my opinion. Ordered 3 different dishes to share between 3 and even got to take a little home. Our waiter also went above and beyond in regards to service and helped us recommending an appetizer that he mentioned was new on the menu. Fine dine experience with excellent service and atmosphere.
